The EKO GUITARS BAIO XL is a compact multi-effects pedal with an integrated IR loader, designed for electric, acoustic and classical guitars, as well as electric bass. It combines a wide range of effects, amp models and cabinet impulse responses, offering flexibility for practice, live performance and recording.
It features 80 presets, including 40 factory presets and 40 user presets. Its 6+1 simultaneous effect slots allow users to customize the effect order, while 20 amp models cover a range of guitar and bass tones. The 20 IR slots support the loading of cabinet impulse response files.
The colour display and two footswitches provide convenient control. Its rechargeable battery offers over 10 hours of operation, while Bluetooth audio input allows music playback. A headphone output is available for quiet practice.
The USB-C connection enables the BAIO XL to function as an audio interface with computers and compatible mobile devices. It supports 44.1 kHz / 24-bit USB audio with loopback functionality. A compatible OTG adapter, sold separately, may be required for smartphone connection.
The electric guitar IRs were designed by Massimo Varini, while the acoustic guitar and bass IRs come from the DrapSound library. Weighing just 410 g and powered by its internal battery or 5 V USB, the BAIO XL is a portable solution for musicians seeking versatile sound processing in one device.
