The HELVIA GNS-550XGN speaker is designed for use in gardens, patios, outdoor restaurants, parks, and generally any indoor or outdoor environment where the speaker base can be buried in the ground.
- With 60W RMS power, a 5.25" woofer, and a 0.75" titanium tweeter, it delivers good frequency response and excellent sensitivity.
- The downward-facing driver orientation and the conical reflective surface beneath the woofer provide 360° horizontal and 40° vertical coverage. This allows a small number of speakers (2 or 4 units) to effectively cover a medium-sized garden or courtyard, depending on the desired listening level.
The polypropylene enclosure is designed for long-term resistance to all weather conditions.
- UV treatment prevents material degradation from prolonged sun exposure.
- The IP56 protection rating, combined with the downward-facing protected driver position, reduces direct exposure to water and mud, significantly extending the speaker’s lifespan.
A 7-position power selector switch, located in a protected area next to the woofer, allows easy adaptation to 70V, 100V, and 8Ω systems with multiple power levels.
