Horn speakers are primarily designed for outdoor use, offering high directivity and a frequency response focused on the mid-range spectrum. This makes them ideal for voice announcements and safety messages, such as evacuation alarms. However, when music playback with a frequency range approaching Hi-Fi speaker quality is also required, the ideal solution is a 2-way coaxial horn speaker such as the EVOCA-50MH.
Design
- The durable ABS enclosure, featuring a specially engineered internal structure, effectively protects the 6.5" woofer and 1" tweeter, ensuring an IP66 protection rating according to the IEC529 standard for reliable operation in demanding outdoor environments.
- The included heavy-duty C-shaped metal bracket features an 11-position locking system and allows tilt adjustment from +75° to −75°, offering maximum installation flexibility.
- Thanks to its high-quality construction and optimized acoustic design, the speaker delivers an extended frequency response from 200Hz to 20kHz and a high sensitivity of 97dB (1W/1m), ensuring clear and powerful sound reproduction.
- It provides 50W RMS power handling and supports operation in both 70/100V constant-voltage line systems and low-impedance 8-ohm installations.
- The built-in transformer with rear power selector allows easy selection between 4 power levels or 8-ohm operation, meeting a wide range of installation requirements.
