HELVIA SONIX M8800 | 8 In - 8 Out Digital Audio Matrix with TCP/IP Control Interface
The SoniX M8800 is an advanced digital audio matrix, designed to serve as the “brain” of any modern multi-zone system. With powerful hardware and software architecture, it adapts perfectly to any installation—from conference rooms to complex professional environments—supporting up to 8 inputs and 8 outputs.
Inside, it features a high-performance 400MHz DSP processor and a dual-core 1.2GHz Linux-based controller, providing the power needed for demanding signal processing and future expansion, allowing additional inputs and outputs as required.
The M8800 emphasizes audio quality: ultra-low-noise preamps deliver clean sound with noise levels as low as -100dB, ensuring impressive dynamic range even with very low microphone signals.
System management is easy via user-friendly Windows® software, enabling programming of numerous functions in minutes.
Connectivity is available via USB or TCP/IP, and for larger installations, up to 16 wall-mounted controllers can be connected via RS-485. The M8800 is fully compatible with third-party control systems via TCP/IP and RS-232.
Each input comes with a complete set of processing tools, including Adaptive Feedback Suppression, Automatic Echo Cancellation, Auto Gain Control, Noise Gate, and Limiter.
Each output offers 8-band Parametric EQ, HPF/LPF filters, Delay up to 300ms, and Limiter.
With two USB ports (front and rear), the M8800 allows flexible PC control, live audio recording, or playlist playback from USB. Recording and playback functions can be freely routed through the matrix, just like other inputs and outputs.
