The Modern Acoustics PL8B is an 8” 2-way passive loudspeaker designed for professional fixed installations, delivering powerful and well-balanced sound reproduction.
With 85–125W power handling and 8Ω impedance, it provides clear and dynamic audio for background music applications in cafés, restaurants, hotels, bars, retail stores, and other commercial environments.
The durable black ABS cabinet ensures a discreet appearance and long-term reliability for everyday use. With the addition of a protective grille and aluminum mounting bracket, it can also be used in demanding outdoor installations with increased resistance to moisture and dust.
When combined with the Metro Audio Systems L5 bracket (sold separately), the speaker supports up to 90° tilt and 180° rotation, offering excellent flexibility for accurate sound positioning.
A wall-mount bracket (yoke) is included for easy and secure installation.
