The AB168 is a 48kHz portable I/O expansion unit designed for use with Allen & Heath digital mixers from the Qu, SQ, and Avantis series, as well as AHM audio matrix processors. It provides remote input and output capability wherever it is required within the audio system.
Ready for the Stage!
The rugged design of the expansion unit, featuring heavy-duty rubber bumpers, allows it to be placed directly on the stage floor during live performances.
Weighing just 4.8 kg and equipped with a sturdy carrying handle, the AB168 delivers the portability and convenience required in rental companies, educational facilities, houses of worship, and many other professional audio environments.
An optional 4U rack-mounting kit is available for installation in standard 19-inch racks.
Maximum Flexibility | Place It Wherever You Need It
The AB168 can be positioned up to 100 meters away from the mixing console, offering maximum flexibility in system design and setup. It connects via a single Cat5 cable to the console or to an upstream expander unit.
A second port allows daisy-chain connection to additional compatible expansion units or integration with ME personal mixing systems.
