The ALLEN & HEATH DX168 is a rugged 96kHz portable expansion unit designed to add remote inputs and outputs to dLive, Avantis, SQ, or Qu systems, as well as AHM audio matrix processors.
Ready for the Stage!
The rugged design of the expansion unit, featuring heavy-duty rubber bumpers, allows it to be placed directly on the stage floor during live performances. Weighing just 4.8 kg and equipped with a sturdy carrying handle, the DX168 delivers the portability and convenience required in rental companies, educational facilities, houses of worship, and many other professional audio environments.
An optional 4U rack-mounting kit is available for installation in standard 19-inch racks.
Maximum Flexibility | Place It Wherever You Need It
The DX168 can be positioned up to 100 meters away from the mixing console, offering maximum flexibility in system layout and deployment. The expansion unit connects via a single Cat5e cable to the console or to an upstream DX Expander via a secure EtherCon port.
A second locking EtherCon port provides redundancy capability with compatible hardware or allows daisy-chaining to an additional DX Expander for extended remote I/O.
