The HK Audio PORTABLE SUB 118 A is a powerful 18" active subwoofer, designed for applications requiring extended low-frequency response and particularly powerful bass performance.
With up to 1400 W peak amplifier power and a maximum SPL of 131 dB, it delivers increased punch and powerful low-frequency output, making it an ideal choice for applications where maximum bass performance is required.
The 18" woofer with a 3" voice coil is combined with Class D bi-amped amplification and a stereo preamp, while dedicated presets allow optimized integration with LUNAR, SONAR and POLAR systems, as well as general applications with a 100 Hz LPF.
The frequency response extends down to 35 Hz (-6 dB), providing extended low-end response and greater depth and impact to the overall PA system.
It features two balanced XLR/jack inputs and two XLR Thru outputs, while the crossover adjusts to 100 Hz or 80 Hz depending on the selected preset.
The robust wooden cabinet features an M20 pole mount and two MultiGrip handles, combining high output with practical transport and flexible integration into mobile PA setups.
